The Girl....

She does not like to eat anything but vegetables. (She helped make macaroni and cheese, which she wouldn't eat. However, she ate ALL of her veggies and even dipped them in blue cheese dressing. She drank a big glass of milk because I took away her powerade because she would NOT EAT HER FOOD, instead she had to drink one glass of whole milk - an effort to give the enzymes something to digest other than her intestines. For snack, she got an 8oz ensure and three strawberries dipped in chocolate yogurt.)
It seems like she doesn't fully understand anything. We don't really know how to explain it. Just... we asked her a question and she would answer "no", then a few minutes later, she would want to do what we asked about. We asked her if she like it here and if she was enjoying herself, she said "no", but then told the caseworker she wanted to stay here. But then we asked her another question, and she said "yes", and followed through.
She seems to understand she has to take her enzymes and doesn't mind them, she swallows them as whole pills, four for a meal, two for a snack.
She likes to play Wii, jump on the trampoline, toss balls back and forth, and sing.
It feels scary, because there was no connection like there was with the girls. She will hardly look at you, and when asked to make eye contact, she will look through you.
She seems almost apathetic about everything... We're in for a challenge.
