Things to note in this conversation, mommy said "consequences" not "repercussions".
Lil Miss used the 4-sylable word in a sentence.
Lil Miss used the word in context and with correct meaning.
And when the word pronunciation was corrected, she said "YA, I don't want any, I don't like them!"
AND both her moms kept a straight face while managing to communicate, that if you don't want repercussions for your behavior, then don't exhibit behavior that would have regrettable consequences, like the consequences you might get for spraying the dog with kitchen cleaner. She pouted and stomped, but went to her room and sat on her bed.

CF is apparently stabilizing this week. And by stabilizing, I mean the drs told us we could use the vest at our will, provided we did the minimum, but if it seems like it might help, go for it.
More antibiotics, this time we're at the end of a THREE WEEK TWICE A DAY COURSE. But, her lungs don't sound nearly as crappy as they did and she has more energy!!!

Attachment~~ some day, maybe we'll know. She is seeming to exhibit some signs of change. Then ten minutes later, she'll reassure us that it was only because she wanted something. And yet, there are times when she just seems so... improved... like she's actually realizing that we intend to be in it for the long run.... and like she wants us to be... And the look of glee on her face when we scoop her up off the bus and she gives us a giant hug and smiles while we hold her on the hip like a 1 year old...
And then we get a call from the school for our conferences, "LMS is doing really well academically, she seems very ready for kindergarten. The only concerns we have is that LMS is very... manipulative. It's like she is always thinking ten steps ahead of everyone else and knows what and how to say to get what she wants. It's like her peers are at a disadvantage because she can change things around and manipulate the situation to get what she wants. Like the other day...long story about LMS manipulating some kids into letting her have her way... and we didn't really know what to do about it." What were we supposed to say? So we told them, "yeah, as you know, we're not LMS's first family, she's been through a lot, that's why we have so many supervisory rules and there always has to be an adult nearby, we get it at home too, if you can think of any ideas, let us know, and we'll do the same for you. remember, if you send anything home, you have to do as we do when sending things to school, LET *ADULT* PEOPLE KNOW! LMS, doesn't care and will "forget" to tell you or "lose" things on the way... even though her paack gets handed to the driver on the way onto the bus..." which opened the door for a nice talk about how LMS has a TON of clothes and does not.need.any.more. In fact, when I go through her closet, we're sending some to the school for the kids who don't have... this child is well clothes stocked. geeze!
I sent her to school today with thick snow mittens, a nice hat, and her heavy coat... she came home with two hats because there was an extra and she liked it... Shold would just let these people figure it out for themselves??? Is that fair to the other poor kiddo who is missing a hat now? Is there any way to prove that she knows better, and knew that hat wasn't hers???? I mean, if they were older, say 15, instead of 5, I would think, well, by now we should all know how to keep tabs on our own cr@p, but these guys aren't 15, they are 4...

Guess whose birthday is comming up?
YEP!
This weekend will feature a lightening McQueen cake with a mountain of frosting for LMS who won't eat the cake part, playtime at a bounce-house, a few friends who know better than to cough or sneeze in our house spending the night (gender segregated, same-gendered adult supervised room sleepover).
Then, the-day-of we are taking LMS up to grandma K's for cake and prezzies, and it's the first day of winter break.
Then Christmas, where LMS is getting something unique~~a "baby" with CF(ish) - aka, baby achoo with her very own "vest", "nebulizer", and medicines to take (cough medicine that might also be antibiotics, and glued-shut pill bottles which have beads that look like our 'out-and-about' bottle which contains enzymes, vitamins, supplements, prevac*d, t3nex, sleeping pills, and anything else we might need if we get stranded for a day or two...), and she even gets an empty inhaler that used to contain albuter0l (I sprayed all the extra 'pressure' medication out myself and then washed the inhaler, I think I'n going to paint it red and purple - the colors for her two inhalers... not that it would be the end of the world if she got extra... I've never seen a situation where the doctors are saying, just don't give too little!!! and don't really worry about too much except for a few things...actually said, well, if you think she could benefit from a little more, try it, maybe it will help).
She's always wanting to make her toys do a "vest" with her and giving them a nebulizer, so we thought that this would be the perfect baby for LMS.
AND dress up clothes and a play house and a kitchen, and a table and folding chairs and a BIG bean bag and a Tag-reading-thing (I had something similar when I was little, it was red?), and a few little things, oh, and she's getting a personal video game learning system too.... SPOILED??? OUR BABY???? NEVER!!!
Not that we know what she's getting when, just that some dress up and the playhouse on her birthday and the baby is definitely x-mas since g-ma still has to make the vest... Then the kitchen is on x-mas...

She's not sleeping through the night anymore, and she's wetting the bed on occasion, and she kids peices of paper under her pillow to play with at night.
What is it they say? It's a phase... This too shall pass????

On a personal note....
Not having teeth isn't as bad as it was anticipated. Messed up my whole sleep cycle, and it's hard to talk, and if I cook "white bread" (aka not whole grain or wheat) noodles long enough, I can use my tongue to mush them up, and peas (canned) can also be "chewed" this way, and the Vita-mix blender is AWESOME, especially once you learn to de-whip everything.
