it's been a while

most have probably left us. meh... oh well.

lets start with easy and work from there.
MommyT's dad, from Utah came to visit us for three days. THAT WAS AWES0ME. There are no pics because that's life. Sunshine loved hanging out and playing.

MommyT does officially have MS. (not at it wasn't official before, but she can now barely feel her fingertips/hands so it's hard to type. Copaxone, in our opinions, may have sped up the progression of this crap. Stopped taking it in May, during the fourth(!!!) exacerbation in a year.) Her old neuro is.. well, old and stuck with the same knowledge he got in med school... 30 years ago. He was going to start a drug called Tysabri but it just couldn't sit well... so we backed out at the last minute and changed to a MUCH more experienced neuro. (he has MS himself) Ty, it turns out, is not really any more effective, but is incredibly more dangerous.(like brain damage and/or death in 1/1000 users). He's starting her on Rebif.

MommyM FELL. and spent a week in the hospital. She is now in rehab and in pain. MommyT may never go to the movies again. :( She is scared that she might not be able to live outside of a nursing home again. (kill me)

Sunshine... is kicking RAD into full gear. Attitude, defiance, temper tantrums, panic attacks, not sleeping, ripping hair out of her head, regression, whining, picking on her cousin... She gets great "joy" from telling us that she doesn't trust MommyM that she'll come home (especially at bed time or when she can't have a fifth Popsicle). She is completely recovered from her tonsillectomy and eating like babe the giant blue ox. Apparently her tonsils were filling her tummy, because she is now a bottomless pit. Oh my word she is being super defiant! We'd forgotten how quickly tears and laughter cycle back and forth! We've got a long road ahead after this hospital stay ends.
