Setting: MommyM is in the living room with Big1, they are reading "If ou Give a Moose a Muffin". MommyT enters the master bedroom, hears Lil1 talking. She should be sleeping.
Plot: MommyT enters Big1 and Lil1's room, Lil1 is curled up on her left side, wrapped in blankets, just like she was ten minutes ago.
MommyT bends down and reaches to put her hand on the pillow in front of Lil1, on the blanket she is "talking" to.
The blanket is hard and has a full head of hair.
MommyT's stomach and heart both jump to her throat.
MommyT reaches over with her other hand and touches the spot where Lil1 used to be laying. It's a pillow.
MommyT swallows her throat and tells the child to quit chatting with her blankie and GO TO SLEEP.
