made it.

-their first (three mile!!!!) bike ride

-through their first week of school,

-swim party (school start up party)

-having their grandpa come visit (at this house),

-taking the school bus,

-having a friend come over to play,

-through their first class in H&H for this session.

right now...
they're having ANOTHER FIRST!!!

the girls are away from their moms, with grandma, CAMPING!!!!
Both girls have been away from us, even overnight, even with Grandma, but neither child has been camping while in our care. We're trusting g-ma to take lots of really good pictures to post.

This has been a crazy week with an overwhelming number of "firsts". Smart parents would probably spread them out so there wouldn't be such an overwhelming amount of change all in one pile. I can't think of where we would (could) make the change(s) and the girls seem to be handling it like pros.
