Meeting with the person who most likely sat with the kids while we met with birth mom and who then intro'd us to the children and sent us away with them =STRESSED OUT CHILDREN.

having a new male come into the ouse where children are just becomming comfortable =STRESSED OUT CHILDREN.

Stressed out children do not like to listen, get goofy, giggly, defiant, stressed, cry at the drop of a hat, and fear for their stability. Stressed out children cannot wind themselves down. Plan at least nine hours to get the children in a place where they can go to sleep after these meetings. DO NOT SCHEDULE THESE MEETING AFTER NOON IF YOU WANT THE CHILDREN TO BE IN BED AND ASLEEP BEFORE TEN!!!!

The GAL is really good, he got right down on the floor and played with the kiddos, he promises to keep us in the loop. The CPS worker is really happy with how the girls look especially Lil1, loves their room, and was pleased with the crappy lunch we were feeding them (spagetti O's, which i think are evil/sugary/toxic, and veggies).
Preschool assessment sucked, Lil1 was born three weeks too late to enter preschool this year. She is "ok" acedemically but about a year behind socially. We verified that the night before when we tried to play candy land... ugh.
I wish we could get Big1 Eval'd like that... too bad they only do Pre-K assesments for children who are actually trying to get into Pre-K.

We think we realized the root of the crazy 6y.o. after the meeting ended. See, the CPS worker who came to our house, may have been the person who sat with the girls while we chatted with their mom, she may have been the one who brought the girls in to meet us. SHe might have been the person who got their stuff out of the room and handed it to us. She may have been the person who told the girls to say "bye-bye" to mom and then sent them to the car with us.
Therefore, seeing her in our home may have triggered the girls to subconsiously fear that she was taking them from us too. Therefore, they may have freaked the hell out.
