Mommies Wow!

Today was a great day. This morning we went to Waggin' Tales at the library. This was an event where children can go to the library and read to dogs. Big1 got to read her favorite book(Big Green Monster) to Riley the golden. Lil1 went in at the end to pet Riley, but wasn't allowed long, because she could not read. *rolls eyes* The site said all ages, but whatever, she was happy to play at the train table.

After Waggin' Tales Big1 and MommyM went outside to see the water fountain and walk with the ducks while MommaT and Lil1 went potty. Big one and I walked right to the pond and the ducks came right up to us on the sidewalk to chat and walk with us. It was awesome!! Just as we were about to walk to see the other ducks Lil1 and MommaT came runing out and helled for us to hurry into the van, because we had somewhere VERY special to go. We had to go for ice cream because Lil1 POOPED IN THE TOILET!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!! We went to 31 flavors and the girls got clown cones (One raspberry sherbet and on bubble gum) Beautiful photos came of that.

Then we went to pick up a gift for the girls that we got off craigslist and headed to the playground. They played for a bit before they got too cold and asked to go home. At home MommyM and Big1 had some bonding time over Candyland while MommaT and Lil1 mad us super yummy and warm-making broccoli cheddar soup with added corn, ham, and extra broccoli. They LOVED it! Then they had showers, stories and went right to sleep ( except Lil1 has been laying quietly talking to herself and said "Hewooooo-o" right into the monitor. Toooo cute!

I (MommyM) Love those lil bugs so, and I so hope they are not swept away to SD by their tribe. That is the one thing I could not take.

I am focusing on the good though. These two beautiful girls are a blessing in our lives no matter how long or short they are with us, and it is so good to see them settling in and potty training, playing together and starting school.
