The Runaway... (part 2)

We got a call from the principal this afternoon.
Sunshine left class and was running about her school level for over an hour. The principal had to be called out of a meeting to help chase her down.
Her 504 meeting is tomorrow.

It's not good, but it help me feel a little better.

We would both prefer for her not to be sent to the "special needs" school in town but if she keeps this up, she's going to need more support. Nothing of the sort has been hinted to us, but we can see it becoming a possibility at the rate things are going.

I'm interested to see where this is all goes, but I'd rather not be anywhere near the center.
