Not a minute.

It seems like she's not aged a minute since she left. It's infuriating. She still speaks like a 7 year old. She is still shy and timid and broken. More broken than she was when she left.
She is scared but comforted but unsure of how ling this will last.
At the hearing my instinct was to take her out but she stayed. She listened to the badness she has experienced. Luckily they didn't go into detail. They did share that her biomom is living just a few towns away and married to Fe's abuser. She could have seen her all this time but didn't even try. She has had one visitor, one time, in the past year or so.
She has been starved down to the 9%-for-height-and-age level. She left us at about 57% 30 months ago. That's disgusting. She was starved near death from the looks of things. Her beautiful, Indian hair was chopped off above the shoulders. She was physically abused in ways she hasn't told us about. yet... last time she told all in three months with no prompting.
In school she's not much ahead where she was when she left. She will be doing somethings with Sunshine, per her IEP.
