LASTIES!!

Last "see how fostering LMS is going" visit with the caseworker((s) - because she counted as two today) this afternoon.
Last "check in" with the GAL this morning. Good news is he agrees to be on-call in the future.
Last day of waiting for Pulmo.zyme to arrive, last day without having it for a week. Last day of feeling like a bad parent because we can't make the adoption go faster or make the legal process faster, or make paperwork magically come into exsistance.

Sigh of relief. (I really, REALLY hope it's not the last one of those!)

Sunshine did really well today. She got a lot of extra attention. She ate fantastically. She smiled. She played nicely, gently, appropriately with the animals. She kept her clothes on. She colored at her (new, little tykes, SUPER durable) art table.
She peed her pants. The fist time in a year, *not* on purpose. She rubber the soap into her hands, sang the ABC song, turned on the water, put her hands under, and released her bladder. She was terrified. We handled it with the same coolness as when it is done on purpose, except we had to keep reinforcing the "it's not a crisis" and she's not in trouble. We handed her a towel and clean clothes. We acted like it never happened. She apologized for thirty minutes.
She did her vest peacefully.
She got a shower and ready for bed.
She got tucked in.
She went to sleep.
