An OK day. Mostly because she got up, did her vest, ate, put on her vest, and went to Respite. Then after Respite, she did her vest and had bedtime.
But we did this:

It used to be a mess of poster-sized preschool finger paintings (some of which were heart shaped), stapled up trash that someone decided were "treasures" (after retrieving them from the TRASH CAN). Nothing was framed, noted, or recognized with any importance. Now...
Well, do you see that? They are neat and organized and look important. Which is good, because SOMEONE won first place in an art show a few months back and her work has been displayed, not in frames, and not on the wall, but shown in the living room.
Now... Now, it's on the wall. With her awesome medals, and her ribbons, and in nice frames!!! All we need is to pick a great picture of Sunshine and have it printed. Do you see where it will live? Right between those awesome medals!
I'm kinda excited to see her reaction tomorrow.
